Russell L Boyd

I am junior from Houston, Texas who is studying public administration with a minor in communication. I enjoy being involved in my many organizations in addition to delving head first in my studies. In addition to being a full time student, I work in the office of disability services. I enjoy being an activism, politics, writing, taking photos, hanging with friends. My future career goal is to run from a political office.

Caroline M Bryant

I am currently a junior here at Texas State University. I am majoring in elementary education because nothing warms my heart more than working with children! I have been a member of Zeta Tau Alpha for 3 years and have served on both the program council and executive council. You won't catch me without a big smile on my face. Kayla A Gregory

Hi! My name is Kayla Gregory, and I am a junior here at Texas State. I was raised in the San Jose, California, where I first was exposed to creative arts such as music and dancing, which still remain a big part of my life today. More recently, however, after having begun my higher education 3 years ago here in Texas, becoming a physician assistant has become my primary focus. I have a deep passion for not only improving my personal knowledge through the major, but also having the ability to help people along the way.

My love and passion for Texas State University shine when TEXAS STATE Alpha Delta Pi is written across my chest, when I'm on the mat representing the Bobcats, and when I am asked what school I attend. Being a leader at this school has surrounded me by people with such different backgrounds than mine, and that has allowed me to experience college better than I could at any other school. Fun fact: I could tell you a million facts about Texas State University, but my smile when I talk about my school, my organizations, and my friends, is what really says it all. It's a great day to be a bobcat!

Essence A Patterson

When I moved from Germany to Texas, I never thought I’d be able to find another place to call home. Being a military child, you become so accustomed to change, you rarely find that one thing that truly solidifies who you are...but Texas State is different. Being here has given me opportunities I know I wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else, friends I never imagined existed, and a chance at education so many people yearn for. Texas State has not only helped me discover who I am as a person, but what the definition of "home" is also.

Jesus G Rangel

I am very involved with the Texas State and San Marcos community. I work with the office of admissions and sit as a Board of Director for the Alumni Association. I volunteer a lot in the community with main street project, help assist with tours at local high schools, and volunteer every now and then with the Ronald McDonald House in Austin.

Joshua A Raulerson

My name is Josh Raulerson, I am from Celina, Texas and a Junior at Texas State University and as long as I have been here I've been involved in this community. Working as a Cat Camp counselor this summer was an amazing experience helping incoming freshman with a great first college experience while instilling Bobcat pride. I am extremely honored to be nominated for Homecoming Gallardian. I have a deep love for this university and all the people that call San Marcos home. I am proud to be a Bobcat.

I am the definition of outstanding excellence within the community and amongst my peers. I strive to give more than 100% of my time, effort and dedication to achieve short and long term goals. I have had the opportunity to serve as a leader for youth and current leadership positions I hold. I am eager to learn more about what is happening in our community and inclusively work towards making it a better place. Ultimately, I want to create my own scholarship foundation and provide an opportunity for low income students to be able to pay for college.
