Cameron’s research seeks to build an evidence base about the interacting societal, social policy, social program, and agency dimensions to human change.

10.45-11.30 The Changing Geography of HomelessnessDr Sharon Parkinson, Swinburne University of Technology Dr Sharon Parkinson has led and undertaken research in the field of urban studies and homelessness for more than twenty years in community-based, consultancy and more recently academic settings. Her research engages with the theoretical, practical and policy challenges of attaining just cities amidst changing labour and housing markets.

In NSW there is a focus on ending rough sleeping, however this represents just 7% of the homeless population. This session will discuss other impacts on and forms of homelessness and identify solutions to raising awareness and ending all forms of homelessness.
