Homes in Japan
The Remarkable way they are made
What Their Homes Look Like• Japanese homes have their own distinct and original designs. With many windows
and small space. Japanese Pattern of interior decoration is very popular among other cultures of the world because of their attractiveness.
How they are built
• Japanese houses are built simply by wood and their interior decorations are done using natural things like woods, bamboos, grass made mats and carpets and lots of other things. Japanese houses are kept warm by using kerosene and a vent to keep noxious fumes out.
Would it work in Caldwell County?
• I think that this house would work in Caldwell county because it can be heated, but when it warms up you can let it air out due to light materials.
What can we learn about these houses?
• I think we can learn from these houses because they can be heated up to our liking,
but cooled when it gets too hot. They also make all of their houses of organic materials
which would help our environment.
