Mead – fermented honey, usually up to 6 months fermentation,

sparkling or still, with a sour flavour

Sbiten – Russian honey and spice vodka that pre-dates vodka

WHAT IS HONEY?

Honey is simply bee vomit.

Or is it…?

1. A foraging bee gathers nectar from flowers and stores it in their

honey stomach.

2. The foraging bee will then fly back to the hive and transfer the

nectar over to a house bee.
