2014 China Sourcing Fair in Hong Kong delivers even more value!

Economic recovery boosts the global home products industryAs the Fed is in the midst of tapering its stimulative quantitative easing policy, there is a growing optimism for America’s economy. The euro zone, on the other hand, is out of recession while emerging markets remain promising. The robust growth of foreign trade is driving development to the home products industry.

When asked about their 1H2014 purchasing plans, 86% of buyers surveyed recently by Global Sources forecast growth in imports, 60% of whom expect to exceed purchases they made during the same period last year by 10%. Economic recovery is among the top reasons for the growth, accounting for 29%. Its response share in the 1H2014 survey jumped by 16 percentage points from 1H2013.
