development of well-rounded, multi-skilled graduates

namesafterIndianmountainsandGirlsHostelisnamedas

Gayatri withapurpose.Gayatrimantra,aprayerwhichis

Rules and Regulations for Hosteller

• THESTUDENTwhowishestoresideinthehostelisnotallowedtoleavethehostelduringtheMID-SESSION except in the case if he/she has been expelled from the hostel onaccountofdisciplinaryaction/misconducts/shortattendanceetc.

• HostelFee isNONREFUNDABLEexceptCautionMoney. Incasethestudenthasbeenexpelled from the Hostel on account of disciplinary action / misconducts / shortattendance etc. his/her hostel fee and Hostel Caution Money will automatically beforfeited.Noclaimforanykindofrefundwillbeentertained.

• Nohostellerwillbepermittedtocontinuetooccupyhostelroom,unlesshe/shepayhosteldueswithinstipulatedtime.Anydelayinpaymentofdueswillattractfineasperrules.

• Useofintoxicants(Alcoholsanddrugs)andsmokingisstrictlyprohibitedbylaw.

• Ragging isstrictlyprohibitedby law. Anyhosteller found indulginghimself/herselfdirectly / indirectly in indisciplinary activities like theft case / ragging / fighting /quarrelling/useofabusivelanguage/misbehavewithfellowstudents,juniors/seniorswithin campus or with outsiders at public places and also with Staff members, thedisciplinaryactionshallbeinitiatedagainsthim/herasdeemednecessaryormaybehandedovertopoliceforlegalproceedingsaccordingtonatureofoffenceforwhichentireresponsibilityliesontheconcernedhosteller.

• ThehostellerisrequiredtofollowtheMesstimings&MessRegulationsmeticulously.

• No hosteller is allowed to use stove, heater, iron, cooler, immersion rod etc. unlessspecificallypermittedbythecompetentauthority.

• TheHosteller isexpectedtoavail facilitiesprovidedforpersonalitydevelopmentandenhancementofProfessionalskills&knowledgebytheUniversityManagement.

• Nohostellerwillleaveuniversityorhostelcampus,unlesshe/sheobtainsoutpassissuedbyconcernedhostelChiefWarden/WardenanddulyrecordedinMovementRegisteravailableatMain/HostelGate.

• LodgingandboardingfacilitymaybemadeavailableforparentsonadvancebookingonpaymentofRs.1000/-perroomperpersonpernightbyconcernedhostellerfor2daysonly.THISFACILITYISAVAILABLEFORPARENTSONLY.

• Air CoolingRooms are available for the PhD scholars at subsidised rate of Rs 500/-perperson/room/nightinclusiveofallmeals.
