G9 Tactical & Pioneer Solutions International provides the unique HECPO Course at
our Tactical Training Centre, located in Thailand.
The aim of this course is to train students to the standard required of an operator in a
Personal Security Detail / Close Personal Protection team and enable students to
competently fulfil the various roles and positions within the team.
This course is ideally suited for security professionals whose duties may require them to
deploy to high risk areas or conflict zones as part of a PSD or CPP team.
The course is also very beneficial for security risk management professionals who wish to
improve their skills & experience including managers who in the execution of their
respective duties may be responsible for the contracting & management of a PSD / CPP
team in a challenging environment.
Instruction on the course includes but is not limited to the following:
Mission Planning and Operational orders.
Security & Risk Management.
Situational Awareness.
Travel Security & Trip Management.
Route Reconnaissance & Planning.
PSD convoy formations and actions on.
IED awareness- types of IEDs and their employment by terrorist groups.
EOD, Mines & ERW (Explosive Remnants of War) awareness.
Combat pistol & assault rifle defensive tactics.
Weapon transition drills.
Vehicle preparation and operation essential equipment.
Maintain & operate a security vehicle.
Vehicle extraction and cross decking drills (includes live fire practises).
CP walking drills, formations & actions on.
Counter Ambush drills.
Complex attack actions on.
Fire and manoeuvre / break contact drills.
Mounted and dismounted PSD SOP’s and drills.
Scenario training using live fire and simulated firing drills.
Conduct and prepare site & venue security assessments/ mission risk assessments.
Building entry & room clearance techniques.
Intelligence gathering & methods of obtaining intelligence.
Surveillance & Counter Surveillance Techniques.
Principal / client management& protocols.
Executive / Close Protection principles, procedures & protocols.
First Person on Scene (FPoS) Intermediate medical qualification. Edexcel BTEC Level 2 award. The FPOS Intermediate is conducted prior to & after the HECPO Course (subject to student numbers), contact us for further information on the FPoS Intermediate or other medical courses. Please advise whether you wish to also attend the FPOS Intermediate along with the HECPO Course. The HECPO course is a combination of theory conducted in lecture rooms and field classrooms,
and practical training in field training areas and live fire weapons ranges.
This course is unique in that you will be working alongside Thais & other nationalities on a day to
day basis, and the environment is typically non western, which will pose realistic situations not
encountered at home & take you outside of your comfort zone.
Students not familiar with or experienced in the tactical employment of weapons are
recommended to attend beginner or refresher training prior to the commencement of the

All course costs are subject to 7% Value added tax (VAT).
Costs include road transport between airport & training facilities, accommodation,
breakfast & lunch, course training material, ammunition & where advised social activities.
Costs do not include flights to Thailand.
