The collection presents a wide range of paintings and sculptures from masters of the 18th century such as Boucher, Fragonard, Canaletto and Chardin, as well as precious pieces of furniture and artefacts.

The hôtel Donon, built in 1575, is a splendid architectural testimony of elegant houses in the 18th century society. The museum rooms, redesigned in 2014 by renowned designer Christian Lacroix, are perfectly suited for sophisticated and intimate events.

The museum can be hired for breakfasts, luncheons, cocktails or dinner parties, but also seminars, concerts and theatre plays.

It is also possible to hold exclusive viewing of the collections or the current temporary exhibition.

THE COGNACQ-JAY MUSEUM IS NOT ALLOWED TO HOST PRIVATE PARTIES HELD BY INDIVIDUALS.

The Cognacq-Jay museum belongs to a network of 14 museums owned by the City of Paris and managed by the public institution Paris Musées.More information: parismusees.paris.fr
