What is Focus Group?A focus group is a gathering of a small group of guests with the same nationality to identify areas of concern and look for feedback. Guests are chosen randomly The Front Office Manager run the process and host

the debate. Minutes are taken and action note distributed to all

department for corrective measures and follow up. An Afternoon Tea is normally offered during the

session.

An educational Tours is a group of professional guests who works in a tour operator to sell and promote our hotel.They normally stay for one night to experience your product.The Sales Manager will host them till the beginning until the departure from the hotel.An hotel visit is a also performed during their stay.

A Singles dinner is organised to regroup all in house singles to ensure that are well looked after as they are on their own.This is done on a monthly period according to hotel occupancy.A member of Management normally host the dinner.Here also feedback is gathered to improve our service.

hotel, the head seats, at either end of the table, are taken by the host and hostess.

•At a round or square table, the head seat is wherever the host wants to sit.

•The most important guests occupy the right-hand seats, with the second most important guests, if any, occupying the left-hand seats.

Before Service To know preferences on drink and food. To be aware of any allergens (Nuts, Milk,

Egg, Gluten free etc.) To get a list from chef for Veg and Non Veg. Have a good product knowledge of what is

being served. (Menu, condiments, Sauces) Good knowledge of beverages such as wine

and champagne. Briefing.
