They looked at my first draft of my front cover, and my unfinished contents page

What do you think of the font of the cover lines on my front cover?

• I really like the font of the masthead. The cover lines are bold and have a nice strong colour theme through out

• I like how it blends in with the images and fonts but also how it stands out at the same time as it looks original and effective

• I really like the font on the masthead and the colours used. It sets the scene for the magazine.Maybe a few more cover lines

• Nice font

What do you think of the colours on the front cover?

• Consistent and lovely • They look nice and they go well together • I think they all work well together. Sticking to

colours in a similar palette has really worked well.

• The colour is very good and consistently tied in with the masthead.

Any other comments on my front cover?

• Going against codes and conventions with subject facing other way (don’t forget to mention that on blog) love the positioning of the person. The background image could be a little brighter

• I love the position your artist is in how it fits nicely

• I like the position of your text, I also just really love the colours! (My favourite colours!)

Comments on my contents page?

• Can see it is still in process…like the position of the top image. Try mixing up fonts, colours and sizes on the text.

• Overall really nice cover and contents page has potential.• It looks like it is going very well but obviously it is still in

progress but it looks like its successful at the moment• Looks good so far! Not 100% sure on the grid layout but

I’m sure it’ll look amazing once it’s done judging from your front cover Good luck completing it!!!

• Little more progression but very good and consistent, I like the pictures.

My comments

To improve, or to have benefitted more from this, I should have had a completed first draft of my contents page.

However, from the feedback, especially helpful to the improvement of my front cover, I know what changes to make and consider.
