    One Mans Opinion

    Part I

I took a few days off and returned home to Hartsville, SC over the4th of July weekend. We have a festival there each year at my old

high school. It was closed in the 1980s and somewhat surprisingly

some of the alumni banded together to take ownership of the old

school and convert it into a community resource center. The job they

have done is outstanding. This is only the second time that I have participated other than contribute,

but it wont be the last.

It was also my class 45th Anniversary/Reunion. I saw people I hadnt seen since graduation. I told

Joan before I left that, were all around 63 years old, so the there wont be much partying, more like

sitting around eating, drinking and talking about who died, who lives where, aches, pains, operations

and procedures, retirement and grandchildren and I was pretty much right. Even so, I thoroughly

    enjoyed myself.

I also got to spend some time with my sister who was homebound while recovering from a leg mal-

ady. I also had time to talk with my brother in law much more than I had the entire time they were

married. I found out he and I are very much alike, Im sure thats why my sister married him. (He

kinda looks like me when I was younger...ok just a little)

A little over 20 of my classmates were here this year out of a graduating class of 169. I/we had a

great time. I fully intend to be back next year and participate in our 50th Reunion five years from now,

which is now in the planning stages. So in the words of a Great Man (Omega Louis Gilliard, myFather). As sure as God made little green okra, Ill be there, God willing and if the Creek dont rise

..not sure what that means, but it sounds about right.

    Just, One Mans Opinion.

    SUDOKU

The rules of Sudoku are simple. Enter

digits from 1 to 9 into the

blank spaces. Every row must contain

one of each digit. So mustevery column, as must every 3x3

    square. Each Sudoku has a

unique solution that can be reached

    logically without guessing.

The Solution is at the end of the Book.

    No Peeking.
