One Mans Opinion

Part IOne more time I would like to say Thank You for helping usreach another Milestone. 18 years is a long time for any

business. It has not always been easy, but its always been fun.It is a Labor of Love and I cant think of anything else I wouldwant to do. Im not sure how many more years Ill be able towork on the HOT SPOT and Im not looking forward to the daywhen I have to stop. Hopefully, someone will see the value in our magazine and offer mesome Outrageous amount of money for it. (No, Oprah Is NOT buying the HOT SPOT). AgainThank for Advertising, Supporting, Reading, Sharing and Posing for Pictures. Thank You.

Part IYesterday, this mother of six (6) children in Louisiana was arrested for beating three of her

sons for burglarizing a neighbors home. She beat them with an extension cord so you knowit left whelps. I guess thats why they arrested her for child abuse and took all her kids away.It seems to me that the public is firmly behind this mother and so am I. This was a case ofBeat them Now or Let them get Beat Up in Prison. If they had been arrested, the crywould be, Where are their parents? Damned if you Do, Damned if you Dont. Some kids

just need beating, they dont understand anything else. What was this woman supposed todo? Put them in Time Out? Take away their cell phones? Talk to them? Make them stand ina corner? Go see the preacher or counselor? You and I both know none of that was going towork. No, she should and did, beat them until you see the white meat. (You remember thatsaying). Beating, whipping, spanking, knocking some sense into them or whatever you want

to call it, is the Only thing that convinces some kids that you are serious. You and I bothknow of some kid that should have gotten beatings until they were 30 or more, because ofthe stupid choices they continued to make. Looking back, I wish my parents could havepulled me aside and gone up side my head when I was doing some stupid things in my 20s.

Alas, I hope smarter and cooler heads prevail and leave this lady alone and give her, herchildren back. Maybe the sons will understand the turmoil they have caused and straightenup. I understand there is a Go Fund Me Page for this lady to help with her legal fees. Once Ifind it I will post it on the HOT SPOTs Facebook Page. I intend to donate, I hope you willtoo.
