Website Purpose and Function:

1. What is the purpose of the website technology? Join.me is a site that’s purpose is to make connecting easier. It’s a great way to connect to several people (up to 250) from all different locations. This tool can be used for, not limited to, review documents, train staff, demo products, internet calling, screen sharing, chat, sending files and more.

2. How does it work for the end user? All the people you connect to on join.me are able to view everything on your screen you would like to share, chat and even share control.

Website Application: Describe how it can be utilized in marketing and/or business. Join.me can be used as a very effective way of communicating and sharing files throughout a large business. Being a photographer myself I have other photographers I may want to show images to ask their opinion and get feedback and I could use this site effectively.

Wordle.net Word Clouds

1. What is the purpose of the website technology? Wordle is for creating word clouds out of words you provide. You can color, reorganize and publish your word clouds.

2. How does it work for the end user? It’s a good way to get more word out about your business and can be another way for potential customers to find your business.

Website Application: Describe how it can be utilized in marketing and/or business. By using wordle you can emphasis your business name and then use words, at different sizes to show importance, on what your business does and it’s variety. For example for

my photography business I can use my business name as the largest “Teedle Pix Photography” and then use other slightly less large words to what my business generalizes in “Senior Photos, Weddings, Sports” then go even more with smaller words on what I all do and other events I offer my services too.

1. What is the purpose of the website technology? Ustream.tv is for broadcasting. You can view videos searched by topic and live feeds. The purpose is to share videos to keep people informed and entertained. Also you can use ustream for communicating.

2. How does it work for the end user? You can use ustream.tv to keep up to date on current events. Also you can use it to help you find solutions to problem with communicating with other collage students or communicate with foreign people to learn a language better.

Website Application: Describe how it can be utilized in marketing and/or business. You can use Ustream to advertise your business. Also you can use it to keep up to date on the new technology and advances in your business.

3. What is the purpose of the website technology? Toondoo is made to make your own cartoons to portray a certain point. Not everyone is an artist so it gives you the opportunity to create good artistic cartoons without having to freehand them.

4. How does it work for the end user? You can use it to storyboard an act, illustrate a poem, design a storyboard for a paper, or story board a computer game.
