2. Environment

The current work environment forces us to improve the analysis of the existing information in order to optimize the resources and the investments in the sector. Business Intelligence platforms allow us to consolidate information from different management applications making possible this analysis in no time. The hospitality sector has been managed for years by multiple technological platforms offering closed solutions in which the integration with external modules was very difficult. Management applications have been limited to connectivity with other applications or external solutions. The Hotel Dashboard is born with that philosophy: to enable the hotel to integrate the information from different existing data sources from the hotel or hotel group software platform through the Business Intelligence without limitations. The hotelier can cross data and information from its management applications (hotel, commercial, events, quality control, technical services, interfaces, points of sale, purchase, inventory, finance, web, etc.,) independently from the software vendor of these applications. With this he can optimize the business management through specialized programs for each one unifying the information effectively through the Business Intelligence. For those hotel groups that work with different brands, different hotel software by region, or other technologies, they can unify the information easily. Through the Hotel Dashboard and its modules, it is possible to centralize data from the different management software’s. Furthermore, the Hotel Dashboard is designed to only acquire the licenses needed to work with, adapting to your budget and investment capabilities. Providing you with what just only a few hotels of the market have discovered: the optimization of their business management through the Business Intelligence analysis.

3. Hotel Solution

Within the Hotel Dashboard Solution, we offer a main module that allows you to integrate the management programs or software of the hotels. The Hotel Solution is by itself, a complete analysis solution for the hotel, resort or hotel group (multi-property environments). It brings together the analysis of the main parameters of the establishment such as hotel reservations, client profiles, property KPI´s, commercial analysis, revenue management and other solutions that complete a Business Intelligence which by itself provides an analysis tool of great value for hotels. The Business Intelligence platform, Hotel Solution, steps away from the limitations that offer other programs in the market. In our case, this application is a starting point that will allow to the users access to a large volume of information from his business quickly and easily. The implementation of the HD Hotel Solution can be carried out in few weeks producing an almost immediate ROI. Additionally, the development is open to the client to personalize his own requirements allowing the development of any indicator, report, graph or chart he may need. All this without being limited to a single management program but crossing information from other data sources either through the HD Hotel Solution or any of the other applications available on the Hotel Dashboard Suite. The starting point is in itself a great platform for data analysis which includes the following sections.

NOTE: Some of the standard options of the Hotel Dashboard Hotel Solution allow you to include

comparisons with data from the budget. Since the formats where each establishment manages

the budget are different, if the scope of the project covers the inclusion of this budget

information, additional development time for the implementation of the solution will be

required.

3.1.1. Dashboard

The application includes a main panel where you analyse the state of the property or

properties if we are in a multiproperty environment.

The standard Dashboard looks like the one shown below, but it may be modified and

defined a new form in the pre-hiring meetings scope of the project.

3.1.2. Custom Report

This option allows you to create reports on the fly by selecting the desired dimensions

and expressions. Selecting the possible visualizations will show the available

Dimensions and Expressions.

3.1.3. Top Profiles

This section includes customer information ordered from highest to lowest. You can see

the main types of clients of the hotel program (clients, companies, travel agencies and

tour operators).

It also offers the option of filtering by dates and the three main KPI (average price of

room, number of nights and income per room).

3.1.4. Revenue by Client

This section refers to the revenue per the profile type or customer cardex. The main hotel indicators are included.

3.1.5. Client Data

This option displays detailed information of the clients or profiles of the hotel

management system. From this section, can be made filters and segmentations of

different type to later export this information for management through external

systems, such as marketing campaigns targeted at specific sectors of the market.

3.1.6. Profile Type Analysis

This option quickly and easily displays the revenue by customer type (profile). You can

easily see the weight of each customer type within total revenue and by type of income

within the organization.

3.1.7. History & Forecast

This option shows the evolution of different KPIs within a selected year and month. This

way we can consult occupation data, revenue, ADR or REVPAR among others for each

day of a month in the selected year. It includes a graph that shows the data in a visual

way.

3.1.8. Reservation Data

This option allows the visualization of hotel reservations including details of rates,

dates, type of room and other available options. It also makes a breakdown of income

and people by different groups. The information can also be viewed through a bar

chart showing those rates that are sold the most.

3.1.9. Bookings Comparative

In this option the user can select two years, in addition to months and days, and decide

the KPI that he wants to compare in that period.

3.1.10. Time Evolution

This graph shows a month-to-month evolutionary comparison of selected KPIs. It is

possible to select different comparatives and see how this data has evolved

throughout the year.

3.1.11. Reservation Packages

Package graphics allow you to see the number of packages sold and the revenue

generated in the selected periods.

3.1.12. Revenue Analysis

This option shows an annual comparison of property income divided by Room income,

food and beverage income, and other income.

The bottom graph shows a cumulative view of the same parameters in the selected

period.

3.1.13. Manager Report

This option shows a quick overview of the hotel's main indicators comparing several

years in the view, and including a graph that quickly shows the comparison of income

and rooms in the selected years.

3.1.14. Financial

This table includes the invoice data of the establishment, including all invoice details

such as invoice number, date, customer, charge code, amount, and so on.

3.1.15. Daily Revenue Report

This option shows a series of tables by type of income, including accumulated and

variations between current and previous year's data.

This option allows you to include Budget data to add additional comparisons, but this

possibility is not included in the current valuation as we do not know the budget

format to include.

3.1.16. AR Report

This option allows you to view the status of the credits in the hotel program including

the expected expirations by invoice and customer.

3.1.17. AR Statistics

The AR statistics option is an extension of the information shown in the previous

section, but in this case, it is graphically shown information about the debt of the

clients, and who are those who have a greater debt with the establishment.

3.1.18. Market Statistics

The market statistics option shows a clear view of multiple KPIs related to market

analysis, plus a comparison of the data selected between the year in euros and the

past.

3.1.19. Country Revenue

This option includes a graphical view across a world map of the source of income. As

you select part of the map points, you can drill down to specific areas of the planet. On

the other hand, in the right margin, the main KPIs related to the income of these

countries (number of nights, occupation, ADR, etc.) are shown.

3.1.20. Market Revenue

It offers a graphical view of the participation per different KPIs of the different markets

(business source, marked and Tariffs).

3.1.21. Segmentation Report

This table allows to analyse in detail different data related to the segmentation of the

business that is done in the property. It allows a fast and agile view of market data

sought by commercial departments, being able to export the information to Excel.

3.1.22. F&B Revenue Report

This option displays a table that includes billing data by sales centre and service period,

including revenues, cutlery, average prices and other variables of interest to the user.

The data are shown accumulated to the month and year as well.

3.1.23. TOP Groups & Events

The Groups and Events option visually displays the main groups and events in the

establishment and their contribution in number of rooms, income, average price, food

and beverage income, other income and total income.

3.1.24. Groups & Events Reservation Data

This option expands the details of the group reservations data that we have started in

the previous point through a data table with the main indicators of the groups

(income, rooms, people, etc.).

3.1.25. Rev. Manag. Analisys

The option for the analysis of the revenue allows to easily define the ranges of dates of

realization of the same, with the dates of stays, allowing to see and compare the

evolution in the desired periods and per the available indicators.
