“The Place” is a small, sophisticated boutique hotel located in Mal País, roughly three and a half hours from San Jose. In our restaurant, “Chez Moi”, chef de cuisine Nicolás caters to our guests with delicious Belgium and Mediterranean dishes.

beginners as well as for experienced surfers.

WEATHER: Costa Rica has two seasons, a dry season starting November

through April and a green season, from May to September.. Even during the green season it usually rains only once a day. You

can enjoy in both seasons a temperature of about 90 degrees F°.
