SENIOR CENTER INFORMATION

Masks

Masks are required in all Nash County

buildings. Masks must be worn properly

covering the mouth and nose at all times.

Participants do not have to wear a mask while actively participating in a fitness

class or while using the fitness equipment.

When visiting, playing cards, playing pool,

or being in the senior center in general it

will be required that you wear the mask. Staff will be required to wear a mask as

well, unless in their office.

Socializing

We want you to socialize with friends while you are here. Please feel free to sit and

chat, but make sure to maintain social

distancing.

Appointments

We will no longer require appointments for

the usage of the Fitness Room or Billiards

Area. All we ask is that individuals be

mindful of the number of people in the space at one time. Our card groups have

been assigned a card time and registration

is no longer required. Please view the

calendar for when your card group is able

to play.

Anyone who is interested in

participating in activities or special

programs will have to sign up for the

program beforehand. We are requiring pre-registration to make sure we have

adequate space and avoid overcrowding in

the Large Activity Room and smaller rooms

throughout the senior center.

Call us at (252) 459-7681 or visit the front desk to register for any of our programs,

classes, and services.

How to Join The NASH Membership is FREE!

Eligible participants must be: 60 years of age or older; the spouse of someone 60 or older; or a caregiver for someone 60 or older. Gifting and Donations You Make the Difference!

The NASH is overseen by the Nash County Recreation and Senior Services Department which provides programs and services to enhance the lives of older adults. These programs and services are made possible through county funding, state and federal grants, and private funding sources. Private gifts and donations play a critical role in creating new services and in supporting existing ones. Contributions for memorials and other monetary donations are accepted and appreciated. Please contact Morgan Doughtie at (252) 462-2730 for more information on gifting and donations.

Please bring the correct change!

When registering for classes or programs that require payment, please bring the correct

amount if you are paying with cash. You are welcome to write a check. Checks should be made payable to Nash County. Please note

that for socials, if you are unable to attend, it will be up to you to find someone to take
