This is a graffiti type text which is suitable because my

magazine has a ‘street’ style.

This text suits a magazine because it looks music related by

the shape.

This doesn't work well because it is too

comical and too childish for my target

market.

I like this text because it supports the ‘street’

element.

Proposal

The title of my magazine is called HYPE and it will be grime and hip hop genre based magazine

targeted at working class, young people from the age of 14-24 and also people who enjoy the UK hip

hop and grime genre. My magazine will include interviews with relevant artist within the music

genre such as; Giggs, Kano and Tinchy stryder and will be issued fortnightly with a new feature artist

every time.

This magazine will be different to other music magazines because on the last two pages it will have

an unsigned artist DPS which will promote underground artist who are not famous and the artists

which appear on this page will be voted for on the magazine website. My magazine will also have

monthly prizes such an expense paid day at the studio producing max of 2 tracks and also winning

hip hop and rnb concert tickets to see their favourite artists. The visual iconography will include a

colour scheme of red, black, white which is conventional for hip hop magazines e.g. Vibe. The

magazine logo will be headphones because it is associated with music.
