Client Case Study Housing Associations The challenge was to achieve a substantial reduction in landline and mobile costs required by both Fold and Help Housing Associations. The organisations both had a high expenditure on telecoms expenses. Both organisations are not for profit, therefore they key objective was to cut costs aiming for up to 20%. The current manual directory updates and reports were an unproductive use of time. A solution was needed to identify abuse and potential PBX fraud. Furthermore, a solution with a tariff check facility was called for to ensure that the organisations were fitted with the most cost effective tariff for their day to day operational needs. The Challenge Firstly, we produced accurate call profiles based on an in-depth analysis of the telecoms supplier bills. By providing them with our CallManager Pro solution we significantly improved their speed of communications and efficiency by delivering scheduled reports to individual tenants, which includes an uplift VAT facility. Scheduled mobile and fixed line report identified where high cost calls are being made and where they could be cut down. Charge-Back Tenants Nominated administrators can now view and edit tenant details assigned to numbers in order to accurately charge back. An uplift and discount facility can be added.!Bill Checker and Fraud Detection We provided fraud detection and analysis, issuing alerts where needed attention. Alerts were set to identify any unsettling charges or activities.

On completion of Sentels audits, Telecoms Expense management reports are now delivered across all levels within Helm and Fold Housing Associations, giving departmental managers and their employees better visibility of the calls they make resulting in usage costs falling by an average of 15%. !Through Sentel services, both these clients receive an overview of their monthly spend broken down by cost centre and service type, therefore gaining better insight and control.
