Dedication Sunday

We will have a parent and baby

dedication on Sunday, February

15th for all babies born in

2014. If you are a parent of a

child born in 2014, you will be

receiving a letter in the mail soon

with instructions about that day

and what we need. Below is a list

we have in our records. If you had a baby last year or know of a member who had a baby last year and their name isn’t included on this list, please let the church office or Christi Clark know as soon as possible.

Great Hall Remodel

The Great Hall remodel is underway and it will not be accessible for the

next few weeks. We have chosen to do this work to maximize our classroom

space in our present facilities.

A second floor is being added to the Great Hall. The second story will be a

storage mezzanine. When completed, our teacher’s resource room will be

moved to this mezzanine, freeing up the present resource room and the puppet

room for additional classroom space. The mezzanine will eventually be used

for other storage as well.

A new puppet stage will be created in the Great Hall, and Worship, Too and

Children’s Bible Hour will begin meeting in the Great Hall at that point.

Other modifications to our education center will include new doors at the south

and north end of the main hall (bringing them up to meet fire code) and

attractive murals in the preschool hall. The murals are being painted now and

the new doors will be installed soon.

Please be patient with these temporary inconveniences, be aware of the

dangers in construction areas, and monitor your children accordingly.
