HowdoIdisableclientchoicesinNetScalerGateway?BackgroundClientchoicesarethelogonchoicesreceivedbyauserwhologsontoaNetScalerGateway.Thesechoicescanbedeterminedbycreatingasessionpolicyandprofile.Therecanbeuptothreeiconsrepresentingthefollowinglogonchoices:

• ICAProxy• ClientlessVPN• FullVPN/NetworkAccess

HereisanexampleofhowloggingintoNetScalerGatewaylookswhentheclientchoicesareON:

NetScalerGatewaygivesadministratorsanoptiontodisabletheseclientchoicesbymodifyingthesessionprofilesothatusersarenotdirectedtoselectachoiceeverytimetheylogintothe Gateway and are by default logged into a certainmode. This enables seamless userexperience.

Instructions:

I. FromtheNetScalerGUIa. Logon to the NetScaler GUI and follow this path: Configuration tab -

>NetScalerGateway->VirtualServers

b. Selectthevirtualserverforwhichyouwanttheclientchoicestobedisabled

andclickonedit

c. ScrolldowntopoliciessectionandclickonSessionPolicy

d. SelecttheboundpolicyandclickontheEditdropdownandselectEditProfile

e. Clickonclientexperienceandscrolldowntotheadvancedsettingscheckboxandselectit

f. Scrolldown toClientChoices, checkoverrideglobal anduncheck the clientchoicescheckboxandclickOK.

II. AlternativewayfromPolicies:

a. Anotheralternative istoeditthesessionprofile is fromConfigurationtab->NetScalerGateway->Policies->Session.

b. SelectthePenciliconnexttoProfile.

c. ContinuefromI.e(above)onwardstodisableclientchoices
