What IsThe Keystone Club? The Keystone Club is made up of Memorial Healthcare employees who believe in the power of the individual to make a difference not only in their own lives, but in the lives of their fellow employees. This group of employees leads the way by pledging a set amount every pay period to ensure quality healthcare and assist other employees in times of great need.

One hundred percent of employee contributions, along with matching dollars from Memorial Healthcare and Memorial Healthcare Foundation, go directly to purchase employee-requested equipment or technology right here at Memorial.

Some of the equipment purchased by the Keystone Club for employee’s safety and patient benefit include:

• Acoustic sound panels

• Network camera System

• AED for lobby

• Laptop computers

• Platform truck

• Copier

• Infusion chairs

• Infant resuscitator

• Radiation aprons

• Outdoor picnic tables

• AccuVein visualization tool

• Mammography localization paddles

• Training monitor

• Ergonomic office chairs

H.E.L.P. FUNDWe also have established the H.E.L.P. Fund. This fund (Helping Employees Live through Problems) provides grants of up to $500 to employees who have experienced a crisis or catastrophic event in their lives. Since 2003, the Keystone Club has granted over $85,000 to assist our fellow employees.

Names are kept confidential. You can find the H.E.L.P. policy at http://mhn/sites/Policies/Policy%20and%20Procedures/644.17.pdf.

Our LegacyEQUIPMENT FUNDSince 1987, the Keystone Club has donated over $620,000 to the equipment needs of the employees. The donations continue to be vitally important to our organization and our fellow employees. Memorial Healthcare and the Foundation recognize and support this employee-driven effort by matching every dollar raised through payroll deduction. They believe in the “Power of You” and have committed valuable resources and funding to this important program.

How Does It Work?During an Equipment Drive, employees may submit a request on the Request for Funding form found at http://mhn/sites/Policies/Policy%20and%20Procedures/009.05.pdf for equipment or technologies that will benefit how effectively they do their job or improve their work environment.

Grants are awarded to top-ranking requests determined by Keystone members vote. Only Keystone Members may vote during the Equipment Drives. Voting will be done online.

Any department that fails to purchase their request by the deadline will not be eligible to participate in the Keystone Grant Program for one fiscal year.
