How does ‘Shuffle’ magazine conform and/or challenge the

conventions of magazine design?

Front Cover

This is the front cover of my music magazine ‘Shuffle’.

My magazine conforms with other magazines because of the masthead being staged in the top middle of the page.

With the use of a banner on the magazine, it challenges other magazines because not all magazines use them. Also it is a similar colour to the ones used throughout the front cover.

By using cover lines my magazine conforms with others as the majority of magazine feature cover-lines.

My contents page conforms with other magazines because of the use of the left third being used as an advertisement of a specific feature in the magazine.
