• Channel 4 was our chosen channel to air our documentary.

• We used a channel 4 ident at the beginning of our doc, as well as in our newspaper advert.

• Our DPS and newspaper advert use similar themes and colour, allowing our audience to be aware of he relation, not just to each other, but to our theme of social media.

primarily at a young audience of 16-24, our secondary audience being 25-35.

• The metro newspaper has a mass audience as it available on many platforms.

• Also, it is available for free on public transport in London.

• This would be appealing to our target audience who are females between the ages of 16 - 25, as they are students who are most likely to take public transport.

Therefore,

Our documentary and ancillary texts are an effective combination as both texts have a similar target

audience meaning that we can attract our target audience through our double page spread and

newspaper advert so that they will ultimately watch our documentary.

The combination of our main product and ancillary text are effective because it works

as a unit and it doesn't look separated.

This is effective because our audience are able to make links between the ancillary texts

and then watch the documentary.
