How I Created My MastHeadBy Sam Mackintosh

First Design

This was my first design idea for my Masthead. Once completed I found this design was a bland and boring as it did not stand out enough. I thought this design did not look professional at all as I have done no real editing to it.

Second Design

This was my second idea for my Masthead. I thought the font I used for this design worked well as it stood out very well and also I believe the colour works well to attract people towards the magazine. However, the reason I did not use this design was because in my opinion it did not stand out enough as it is just one set colour with no real effects on it.

Final Design

This is my final design for my Masthead. The reason I chose this design was because I thought it stood out very well with the main colour, the overlapping of two colours, the big font and the editing I have done to the writing. As well, I thought by having “No Strings Attached” underneath, it made the title look professional. I have a sell line on this design which makes my magazine unique to any other magazine. This final design has all the aspects of my other two designs in one finished design.
