• 3D is used mainly in film to enhance the view experience, it brings people into the movie. 3D makes things that aren’t possible in really life possible.

• 3D in used in many film genres. After doing research I found, it is used main in action adventure and horror this makes the viewing experience more interesting.

• In horror films they would use special effects to make the viewer as scared as possible. They create this vibe by creating object or paranormal activity that isn’t really in our world.

• Many companies use 3D. Pixar and Dream works use 3D to make the exciting my pulling in the family by creating funny animation films, that the whole family can enjoy.

IN FILM

• 3D is becoming more popular by the minute. Companies 10 years ago used a technic called sketching. Sketching is being used less and less.

• 3D is used to create characters and scenery, props and emphasis sound effects.

• 3D can be used to create pictures and also storyboards.

IN TELEVISION

3D is used in Television more and more frequently.

• 3D is used in Television mostly to show objects or human artifacts that aren’t possible to see because of the age. The television show will create a 3D model of the object to show the audience the object in a 3D model, to show you what they are talking about.

• 3D is used in television to make special effects. Doctors who, use 3D to Create the phone box and to make creatures more realistic.

MODELING

3D is used to create templates to help people create a objects. Templates help people by showing people and give them a guidance on how things are made.

• Templates helps people a lot. You can use a template to fall back on if they are having trouble to create their art work.

IN PRODUCT DESIGN

3D is used a lot when design a product. Companies would create a 3D model of their product to see how it would look.

3D is also used to create a blue print template, this would be a smaller version of the product.

Example, if a company was creating a new motorbike they would make a smaller model using 3D.

ANIMATION

3D is starting to be used in movies to help them create amazing animation.

Animation can be used by creating drawings by hand and being able to make them drawings animated.

A traditional way of doing animation is to draw them on a storyboard.

3D modeling is used to make storyboards come to like by animating them.

A popular TV program called the Simpsons switched to 3D computer animation in the early 2000’s.

GAMES

3D and animation is used to create stunning games. 3D is a key part of game design.

Without a 3D system to create 3D models, creating a games platform would be near impossible.

3D and animation is used to create the games as realistic as possible. The more the games looks visual it will be more popular. People tend to rely on good graphics now.

Games a first started by creating storyboards, once the storyboards are completed you would import the flat images into a 3D software and model them.

WEB

Animation is used a lot in web design. Animation is used to make a website more interesting by creating animated links and photos.

Animation can make a website good because it can make something that is still and boring to something that you can interactive with.

Animation is also used for advertising. It makes photos and text stand out more.
