Billboards

My film could be advertised in a variety of different ways. One of them being my film on a billboard.

This is what my film would look like if it was on a billboard, this is a good way of advertising because it enables your film to be seen to everyone as this stands out and everyone would be able to see it.

On a side of a bus

This is another effective way of advertising because the amount of buses that you see around is a lot and therefore is an easy way to spread the word, because as people get onto the bus or are walking down the street are able to see this and therefore people are going to want to watch the film.

This is what my film would look like if it was on the side of a bus.

Facebook page

I could create a Facebook page where people would be able to like and comment about my film,. They would also be able to follow the page so they are always updated with release dates, when the DVDS would be out. If the film was to become a sequel.

This is a good way of advertising because so many people are on Facebook now a days. Therefore more people can share the page and spread the word.

How would a distributor target a specific audience?

The distributor would target a specific audience by collecting research, this takes me back to when I did my research.

I found that the age group which would want to watch my film would be from 15-21 the younger generation, because the type of film is a thriller with the sub genre of horror and action all together.

The distributor could also target the specific audience by doing different posters.

The could do questionnaires or little surveys to help them found the right Audience for the film.
