How Does The Order Process Work? What the customer sees Customers enter your website and click on the online ordering button. They are then taken to a page containing your menu. First time customers will be asked to register, repeat customers will sign in. This process enables them to view and use their points and/or discounts. As they select their food items they see their tab build. Once their selections are complete they proceed to checkout. At this page they confirm their billing and delivery information, specifying the order is delivered now or on a particular date and time, in addition to whether the order is to be delivered or they will pick it up. Your customer then enters payment details where COD option is also available. Pressing Enter sends their order to you! Your customer then sees a screen that provides live order staging detail and an estimated time of ready or delivery. What the store sees If Text Ordering feature is incorporated, the order is sent directly to your personal Smartphone, plain and simple. All order details are displayed on your Phone. For busier restaurants where the demand warrants a more efficient platform, an Apple iPad® and Chit printer is recommended. Once your customer completes the order process, the store receives the order and automatically prints the chit. Full order detail is also available on iPad® touch screen. Reports and Customer Details Available online, 24 hours a day, are details about your customers and their ordering habits. System Detail How the Online Tool Compensated There are two components to the order compensation process and are shared by the customer and the restaurant. When the customer checks out they pay a nominal internet transaction fee. When the order is received at the restaurant a nominal order fee is assessed. Fees are based on total order value and are available in table A below. For a typical order up to $24 the customer pays a 75₵ Internet/Convenience fee. and the restaurant pays a 75₵ Restaurant fee. What the Restaurant Transaction Fee Provides You The store order transaction fee pays for the marketing efforts provided continually by your local eTechmen Account Manager. Services provided include:
