Because of the diversity of most American classrooms ,the teacher will rarely have the same cultural background as all the

students.Is the teacher responsible to include the cultures of all his or

her students?

* It is essential to incorporate music from many cultures into the classroom to celebrate the diversity of our students and the world around us.

* Replication of established traditions, use of musical techniques from other cultures, and fusion of musical styles can all help students learn and grow through music as long as these activities are approached with respect towards all cultures and people involved.
