Device Administration (IOS, Android and Windows)
• Focus of the new course:– Mobile Device Administration on key
platforms used by Milwaukee Area Businesses (IOS, Android, Window Mobile)
– Mobile device management approaches in an increasingly consumer technology driven world forcing its way into the enterprise.

Device Administration (IOS, Android and Windows)
As a student in the MATC (Milwaukee Area Technical College) IT Support program, this is your opportunity to:
– Learn about what the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) movement is all about, how it impacts the security of a company's data, and how to structure a policy that protects and empowers employees
– Prepare for one of the newest IT Certifications out there by CompTIA: The Mobility+ certification
– Take hands-on-learning with different cloud based management tools for mobile devices
– Identify and use remote administration support tools for assisting customers with mobile devices
– Hear from industry leaders in the local Milwaukee economy that are on the forefront of mobile device security and data encryption

Additional MATC IT Support Courses Available starting
Fall 2014 at Milwaukee Area Technical College
ITSUP-150 – Mobile Device Repair. This course focuses on how to support and repair smartphones and tablets. These devices became essential for individual users and also for enterprise users and as part of this class students learn how to administer devices, repair the hardware and protect data and configuration from unauthorized use.
ITSUP-152 Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP). This course prepares students for Apple’s ACSP certification. Course covers OSX installation, setup and configuration, recovery, software updates, file sysystem, FileVault, permissions sharing and a lot more.
ITSUP-153 – Mobile Device Administration (IOS, Android, Windows). This course will teach students about mobile device management for Android, iOS and Windows phone devices. It will cover using each platform, how it can be supported in the enterprise, BYOD challenges and solutions, and integration of the mobile device platforms into an existing IT administration/support strategy.
ITSUP-108 – Enterprise Desktop Support Specialist. Students will learn how to support Windows OS on the enterprise and how to integrate windows with other network devices.

• TAACCCT INTERFACE is the grant from DOL to help re-educate and re-train people in Milwaukee area.
• The Primary intent of the TAACCCT INTERFACE program is to meet the educational or career training needs of workers who have lost their jobs or are threatened with job loss as a result of foreign trade by funding the expansion and improvement of education and career training programs that are suited for these individuals.
