Technological advancements

We can’t do without them!

Can you imagine

yourself without a

Smartphone?

I have tools to

make me productive

connect with peers and others

help me organize and manage my life/business, etc.

But there’s a price!

Technology has affected our lives in a

bad way!

The face of

“Social” has changed

Connect, Follow, Friend, Like

These words carry a different meaning now

Social is no more necessarily

face to face

You and your friend can sit in front of computers

and talk via Skype

Yup surely

this is a positive thing

Without the technology, you wouldn’t be able to talk to

FRIENDS/FAMILY who are away

But consider this >

You sit at a restaurant table

with 5 friends

And each one of you put your face down, hold your Smartphone and

check emails/update social status

Even with Google Glass (which is considered less distracting),

you STILL ignore others

The face of

“LIFESTYLE” has changed

When is the last time you went shopping?

I mean REAL shopping?

We used to

walk a lot, breathe fresh air give our eyes and brain some

new colors, etc.,

while shopping

Now, most of us shop

online

Not just shopping, but listening to music playing games watching movies reading books- we do all these the same way - we sit in front of a computer

Or hold a Smartphone or Tablet at our palms

This DOES take a toll on

OUR HEALTH

We end up having poor eating habits obesity back pain vision problems and even some unexplained illness

I’m not trying to

scare you

I’m not asking you to drop using tech gadgets either

(I won’t be able to do it myself)

But we should have everything in control

OUR CONTROL

Tech gadgets are here to

HELP US, SERVE US not the other way round

Use them;

but don’t get

ADDICTED TO THEM
