Alumni Leadership Program

• The Alumni Leadership Program (ALP) distributes tuition assistance to deserving students whose needs are not met through the other scholarship and tuition assistance venues.

• A letter is written by the student and parent to the President/Principal outlining the financial need.

• The President/Principal forwards those with the greatest need to the Hudson Catholic Alumni Association for funding as pledges are made by Alumni.

“Soaring to New Heights”

• Offers potential donors the opportunity to help fund a student’s education at Hudson Catholic and receive a tax credit

• Donors are solicited by the school administration but can also be identified by a parent

• The Administration will assist parents in securing those possible donations

“How will I know if I will be getting financial aid?”

• You will receive notification directly from The Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children

• You will receive notification directly from the Student-Partner Alliance

• You will receive information from the Hudson Catholic Admission’s Office if you use the FACTS form. That aid is “graduated” according to income and ability to pay.

• You will receive notification from the Alumni Association if your child qualifies for the ALP Program.

“How will I know if my child will be getting an academic scholarship?”• Notice of Academic Scholarship offers will

accompany the Letter of Acceptance that will be mailed by January 15, 2016.

• The level of scholarship will depend on the score on the COOP and the eighth grade records.

• The De La Sallian Scholars will be selected and notified by the President/Principal and the program directors.

Transportation to and from Hudson Catholic Regional High School• HUDSON COUNTY

– PATH trains are operating between Newark Penn Station and 33rd Street from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.

– The Light Rail is running on its regular schedule.– NJ Transit Buses on Kennedy Blvd

• UNION COUNTY– The NJ Transit Raritan Valley Line runs a modified schedule between

High Bridge and Newark Penn Station.– PATH trains operate between Newark Penn Station and 33rd Street.

Connect to PATH at Newark Penn.

• New York City– PATH trains run between Newark Penn Station and 33rd Street in

Manhattan from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.. Stops will include Newark Penn, Harrison, and Journal Square.
