Whether you are an Owner/General Manager; Fitness
Staff, Sales Staff or in Operations the MACMA An-
nual Conference has something for you.
Two Keynote Presentations to ‘Amp’ Up
Your Club!
‘Amp’ Up Your Intuition with Jon Stetson
Invest in Your Intuition
We all need to review just what we think is possible –
both in the world at large and in our own lives in par-
ticular.
The limits placed on us by society, work, friends, and
family often become limiting factors in our lives.
The best solutions to our problems are often right in
front of our eyes, but we fail to see them because we've
been seeing our Life Experiences through dark glasses.
What we think is a focused approach is often, in reality,
just a bad case of tunnel vision!
Jon Stetson’s goal is to inspire and teach that we all
have a lifetime of learning that yearns to be put to use –
and applied in everyday life – but with which most of
us in the modern world have lost contact.
He will motivate you to invest and connect with your
Intuition and expand what you believe is possible… and
then go beyond.
‘Amp’ Up Your Education
Earn CEU’s from the American Council for Exercise
(ACE), National Academy of Sports Medicine
(NASM) and National College on Strength and Fitness
(NCSF) by attending the sessions at conference.
If you are club owner, and it is simply not feasible to take
your staff to the IHRSA convention, you cannot afford to
miss the MACMA Conference. Your staff will have the
opportunity to hear the same high quality industry experts
speak and become better educated without sending them
across the country to do so. If remaining competitive in your
market is important to you... do NOT miss this event!"

many fitness professionals grasp the concepts driving these training philosophies, many misconceptions exist in
understanding the real physiological principles that deliver safe and effective programs for success without injury
or attrition. Although metabolic conditioning varies by purpose, for most it involves strategies to boost metabo-
lism, burn more calories and transform the body from fat-to-fit, but are they snake-oils or do they deliver results?

The Baby Boomers Are Coming ! Are We As Fitness Professionals REALLY Prepared
For This Lucrative,Yet Medically Challenged Market? Amanda Harris, ACAC
Baby Boomers are an emerging market for Fitness Facilities all over the country. Their doctors are imploring them
to exercise and many have both the time and the money to do it. But these people do not come to us looking only
to “lose weight and tone-up.” Their health may be complicated by metabolic disease, joint disorders, chronic pain
and even cancer. Are personal trainers ready to appropriately care for these clients? Are we willing to risk it?
