CONTENT OF THE OPENING TITLE

SEQUENCESO HOW DID WE MEET THEIR NEEDS?...Me and Chloe publicised our opening title sequence on social media (Twitter and Facebook). If it were a real media product we could have a Facebook page and a Twitter page for our film and we could make a Spotify advert to be played inbetween songs on non-subscription premium customers as many males will listen to that at the gym.We have also tailored our film to the horror genre which may attract a stereotypical male aged 18-24. Me and Chloe made the Everyman the person you would see most on the screen, this is because the target audience are doing to identify and relate to the most.

ASKING PEERSOVERTLY AND COVERTLY…

We also asked other people in our Sixth Form for their opinions but they did not know they were being filmed. We thought they would be more honest this way. Afterwards we told them they had been filmed and they agreed to letting us use all this footage: Click here for the YouTube video

We also asked our Everyman, Harry Colgan and Eleanor (not a media student) for their views: Click here for the YouTube video

We asked two of our fellow Media Studies students, Jack Cullum and Fabian Harrison what their oppinisons of ‘Blank’ were (from 1:39 until 2:30)Click here for the YouTube video

SHOWING IT TO GO A

GROUP OF 200+Me and Chloe also made the decision to show our media product in assembly to the whole of our Sixth Form. This was nerve-racking as some of our sixth form we’ve never spoken to and this would be their first impression of us. However we felt it went well, they were all given a link to our questionnaire on Survey Monkey. Not all of them did go on to the link and fill out the questionnaire but we still got a pretty good response. Looking back we should’ve given out paper questionnaires so then the people would feel more obliged to fill them out. All of our answers on our survey have been positive and me and Chloe are happy with our final product.
