How to Become an Exponential Thinker?

You wake up in the morning and routine starts. Thoughts rush in as you

start your �rst activity of the day — you start next thing and then

another one; all you thoughts and related actions are very much linear

throughout the day

Now, instead of observing your day analyse how you spent last year and

you will realize that your past thinking, actions and decisions were

linear and they were tied to each other like some cause and e�ect

theory.

Linear way of thinking is not a problem, but if you want to solve some

mega problem that need some urgent attention and it impacts all the

population on this earth — you just can’t take linear approach.

Technology is moving faster than ever, faster than our need to innovate,

faster than we can adapt. If we want to use the accelerating growth of

technology for solving some of the biggest problems we have today,

then we need to think exponentially.

You cannot a�ord not to think in a long term perspective.

While thinking about solution — you need think beyond your lifetime;

you have to consider its impact on the generations to come.

linearly.

by doing rather than just consuming yourself into theoretical parts

of learning.

No matter what you do, you need to know SMAC (Social, Mobile,

Analytics and Cloud) of your industry.

Not just emerging technologies focus on “Next Big Thing” too.

Assess your existing barriers to entry into exponential thinking;

create a learning plan and have long term commitment

Status quo is your opponent and safety an illusion, so learn to

embrace uncertainties
