Getting Started on Vista Print

1. Go to www.vistaprint.com

2. Click the Business Cards tab. Choose a ‘Standard Business Card” option

Basic Vista Print Template

1. You will see the following template on the screen

2. We need to change the design for the template/upload logos and fix fonts and sizes

Changing Basic Template to Benedictine Template

1. Begin designing the front of the card by clicking on a template. Templates are located in

the DESIGN tab on the left of your screen. Choose the third down, as shown below.

2. Next, click the area of the card that you’d like to customize first.

2. We are going to have to move around the boxes to get up to the correct ‘look’ for our

business card

Benedictine Template: uploading logo

1. This is your basic Benedictine College of Business Card

2. Next we are going to upload the logo. Google Image search “Benedictine University”.

You will see the Benedictine University logo below. Download that image first as you are

going to upload it from your computer. DO NOT COPY AND PASTE

3. Click the Your Photo or Logo Here section, hit ADD IMAGE and import the BenU logo.

1. When you have uploaded the logo, it isn’t going to fit correctly

2. You will see the screen below

1. Click on the logo and the additional screen pops up

2. Hit Crop/Rotate

3. Choose Scale to Fit and the OK

Your card should now look like the one below

Changing Company Name to College of Business – font, font size, right justificationb

1. Adjust the COMPANY NAME box to be right under the Benedictine logo

2. Change COMPANY NAME to College of Business

3. Choose the Aetna JY Newstyle Font. We will be using this font throughout the card

4. Choose font size of 10/ make sure that all fonts are BOLD

5. Click on MORE and the additional choices of ‘justification’ will pop up. Choose Right justified

1. Move the College of Business text box to the right to line up the “B” in Benedictine with

the “C” in college as seen below

2. Now Put in your name. You MUST use your middle initial

(area code) SPACE XXX SPACE – SPACE

Hit the MORE tab and hit SPECIAL CHARACTER for the bullet

SPACE then add gmail address

1. Click the PREVIEW option near the bottom.

2. Take a look at the card on the screen and make sure its perfect. Have someone else check

your work as once you order, you own it mistakes and all

2. Your back side the card should be blank. Leave it blank.

1. Click Review and Order

2. You will see this screen

3. Click that you have reviewed your card and then click NEXT

2. But if you want to save your design to print cards later (recommended), create an account

1. Pick the quantity of cards you would like to purchase. We recommend at least 250

2. Order cards in a group to save on shipping

3. Check for coupons as there is often a 50% off coupon floating around on the web

1. Pick the type of paper you would like for your cards.

2. “Glossy” is what we are ordering

3. After hitting “Next” you will be prompted to buy unnecessary items. After clicking

through those pages, you will be done and ready to put in your shipping and payment

information. You can skip this by using the tab CHECKOUT
