How to Build an Opera Report Scheduler
Program Summary: To provide sales leaders an automated report showing reservations made through Group Bookings Made EZ :). The report will flag the sales leaders to reach out to guests and create necessary accounts/bookings in Opera and Compass. The goal is to have better control and tracking for group block management with reservations made outside of the sales office.
Procedure:
1. Log into Opera a. Select Miscellaneous from either option on the top navigation bar b. Select Report Scheduler

2. Click NEW when the window opens
3. Set parameters to the following: a. Report line - Arrivals b. Highlight - Arrivals: Detailed

4. Set the data range parameters a. Set desired Start Date and Time
5. Set Repeat frequency a. Every “1” b. Days c. Select day of week as needed
6. Set Repeat Until a. Indefinite b. Or time frame
7. Leave Server as is and click OK

8. Set report parameters a. Date range “From/To Dates” for 1 year out b. Click Arrival Dates check box c. Select the Rate Codes

10. When the report selection screen pops back up, please close it
11. From the Report Scheduler set the date rules a. Click Parameters b. Click Set Date

12. Set the parameters: a. Set Report Date on the right side column b. Add +365 Days to the right column c. If the report was started on
i. First day of your date range d. Than the date parameter value would be
i. Last day of your date range
13. Setting the Distribution list a. Select Distribution List b. Select New
