This Assignment Part 1: Creating a Map of your City
PART 1: design a map that shows physical or cultural attributes of the city (Scribblemaps.com or zeemaps.com) Remember, you must create the map yourself, so it is not possible to simply cut and paste a map from the internet. (Please see 4.02 PowerPoint)
include a map key
include a title for the map
label all relevant features such as waterways
PART 2: write a summary that is a minimum of two paragraphs
1. describe the physical and human resources in your city and how these can promote business; examples are natural resources, wealth of the city, other businesses, and types of labor skills available
2. explain how geographic location affects opportunities for commerce and trade in your city
3. describe at least one place of cultural interest
4. identify characteristics of your city’s population, such as the size, level of wealth, and level of cultural diversity
5. identify languages spoken and forms of communication
6. Also, you want to present a clear explanation of your city and why it would be a good place for a business to be located. Be sure to emphasize these points.

Choose five cities that were connected to one or more of the major developments during the Renaissance, the Reformation, and the Age of Exploration.
Develop a slideshow for demonstrating the importance of the five cities you’ve chosen. Remember that this demonstration is for the benefit of students on a tour of European sites and will highlight the top three must-see places within the city.
