How to Create “Thank You” Cards in Microsoft Word
A lot of people do not know that Microsoft Word is able is create “Thank You” cards. In
Word 2016, cards have become easier to create. In this blog, I will show tips on how to
create these cards via Word.
Step 1:
Go to the File area in the upper blue ribbon, and from there select “New” from the far
left blue section.
Step 2:
Below the “search for Office Templates” textbox, there are several categories in the
“Suggested searches area”, click on “cards,”
Step 3:
From there, select the “Thank you cards” icon.
There are also some people that are experienced enough in Word that prefer to make
their own “Thank you cards” from scratch. I am going to show you how to create a
custom version.
Step 1:
Select the Layout tab from the upper blue ribbon.
Step 2:
Select the Margins icon, and from there, scroll down the menu, and select “Narrow.”
Step 3:
Select the Size section from the Layout menu (in the same gray ribbon that you found
the Margins icon) and change it to “A5.”
Step 4:
Turn on the gridlines by switching to the View tab; find the Gridlines icon, and check it.
Step 4:
Go back to the Insert tab, and select the Text Box icon. From there, select the “Filigree
Sidebar”.
Step 6:
Select which box of Text you would like to edit.
Step 7:
Write whichever greeting you want to add.
Step 8
Finally, select the File ribbon and select Print!
