    The corporate world has finally accepted the fact that a high level of EmotionalIntelligence (EI) is required for upward mobility on the corporate ladder.

    Today, there are no critics or detractors to this line of management thought. Leadersin corporate Asia have similar attitudes towards the value of EI.

    EI is that quality in a person that endears him / her to others. It is a synergisticcombination of two intelligences -- intrapersonal intelligence and interpersonalintelligence.
