How  to  Export  Your  Blackboard  Calendar  

to  a  Personal  Calendar Blackboard’s  Calendar  can  be  exported  to  external  calendar  

applications,  such  as  Google  Calendar  and  Outlook.

1.  To  access  your  calendar  in  Blackboard,  log  into  https://ole.sandiego.edu  and  click  on  the  Global  Navigation  Menu,  then  click  on  the  Calendar  icon.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

2.  Scroll  down  to  the  bottom  of  the  Calendar  page  and  click  on  the  link,  “Get  External  Calendar  Link.”  

3.  A  window  will  open,  displaying  the  link  to  your  Blackboard  Calendar.  Copy  this  link.  You  will  eventually  import  this  link  to  your  personal  Calendar.

Importing  your  Calendar  to  Google  Calendar  This will also be populated onto Android devices!

4.  To  import  the  calendar  to  Google  Calendar,  Click  on  Other  CalendarsàAdd  by  URL.

 

 

 

 

5.  A  window  will  pop  up  where  you  can  copy  the  Blackboard  link  to  the  URL  space.  Then  click  Add  Calendar.

5.    Then,  copy  the  URL  from  Blackboard  and  paste  it  into  the  box.  Then  press  OK.

4.  Go  to  FileàNew  Calendar  Subscription...

5.    Then,  copy  the  URL  into  the  box  and  click  Subscribe.

Importing  your  calendar  on  the  iPhone    

4.  Because  you  need  to  copy  a  link  on  the  iPhone,  it  is  highly  advised  that  you  email  the  previous  link  to  yourself  and  open  the  email  on  your  iPhone.  Then,  you  will  be  able  to  copy  and  paste  the  link.  Open  the  email  on  your  iPhone  and  copy  the  link  by  clicking  and  holding  the  link  until  a  window  pops  up.  Select  “Copy.”        5.  Now,  go  to  Settings.        

   6.    Then,  select  Mail,  Contacts,  Calendars.

7.  Then  go  to  Add  Account.    

   8.    Under  Accounts,  please  select  Other...

9:  Click  Add  Subscribed  Calendar.      

     10:  Then,  paste  the  URL  from  step  3  into  the  appropriate  space.      Then,  enjoy  your  new  calendar!
