How to fetch mails from your old Inbox of airtelbroadband.in

Before you start

You need a PC with Internet connection.

You need a working email Id (that existed on our old domain @airtelbroadband.in) and password

You will be able to fetch mails only through web interface.

Stepwise Guide

Before you start here, you need to first activate your account as per instructions mentioned in document “How to access your email for first time”

Once you do that please come back here.

In case you have already completed activation steps, please proceed

Please note that your address book and other folders will not be fetched to new system due to technical constraints. Only mails in your Inbox will be fetched.

We recommend you take a manual back up of folders other than inbox.

Step – 1

Open URL – http://mail.airtelmail.in and enter your existing email userId & password and click click on “Sign in” button.

For Example

Email Id – Yogesh.sachdeva1Password - 123456

Step – 2 After successful login, you will get the Inbox page. Click on “Settings” to enable SMTP & Pop3 access:

Click on “Accounts” tab and click on “Add another mail account” link:

Step – 4

On next screen, enter your complete old email address including domain “airtelbroadband.in” and click on “Next Step”

Step – 5 On next screen, enter Username & password. Please make sure that Username contains complete email address including domain name i.e. “airtelbroadband.in”.

Select your pop server as per your location and click on “Add Account”.

Step – 6 Select “NO” and click on “Finish” button.

Step – 7

To fetch mails, click on “Check mail now” link available under Settings Accounts

Now you can fetch your emails from airtelbroadband.in Inbox.
