How to find a specific journal, magazine, or newspaper in Magale’s electronic collections:

These directions also help when searching for an article using a citation, simply locate the name of the journal,

magazine, or newspaper in the citation:

Fisher, M. L., Hammond, J. H., Obermeyer, W. R., & Raman, A. (1994). Making supply meet demand in an

1. Go to the Magale Library homepage (see link), and then in the lower left-hand corner, click on E-Journals by Title

under Online Resources.

2. Under E-Journals by Title, click on A to Z Full Text Finder.

3. Enter the title of the journal, e.g., Harvard Business Review, in the search box and click Search.

4. Identify the journal title (If it’s not available through A to Z Full Text Finder, it won’t show up.) and click on the

words Full Text Access below it.

5. The databases with full text of articles in your journal are listed. Select any database that will include the date of

your article. For this example, we select Business Source Complete.

6. From the list of dates on the right, click on the year of your article. For this example, we select 1994

7. A drop-down list of issues from that year appears, so click on the issue in question. For this example we select

Volume 72, Issue 3.

8. At this point, you will get a list of articles in the order they appeared in the journal(a). You can either scroll

through until you locate your desired article, or you may put your article title or your article’s author name(s) in

a search box. In this example, we enter the first four words of the article title in the second search box.

9. If the title is available electronically, it should appear in the results list.
