How to get to the Facebook Audience Insight Tool

set up a dummy ad. These are screen shots from an existing Facebook personal account that has never run an ad. Login to your account, click on ‘Advertising on Facebook’

Click create ad

In order to create an ad, you must first have a Facebook page to run ads to. Lets create a dummy page

Select brand or product

Select ‘website’ in the top box and create a name for the second box.

Since this is a dummy page you can just skip your way through these steps.

And now you have a dummy page

Now your options should be a little different. Select Create Ads

Select Promote your page on the left and select your page name from the drop down. Hit continue

Click All Campaigns, we are going to pause the ad campaign

Now click Audience Insights on the left.

And now you should have access to the Audience Insight Tool.
