52 Weeks, 52 Chapters For the next year, we want your student to know 52 essential chapters of the Bible. On Sundays, we will announce what the chapter is for the week. We encourage you and your student to read through this chapter once a day every day. We will discuss it the next Sunday. Below are the upcoming chapters we will be reading and discussing together.

Children’s Offering//Nov & Dec “God’s Pantry” The children’s offering for the months of November & December will go towards God’s Pantry. This pantry has been serving the upstate of SC providing emergency food assistance to our neighbors in need since 2002. In 2015, God’s Pantry was the largest provider of emergency food assistance in the upstate and to date in 2016, they have served over 225,000 meals to approximately 8,000 families. Please continue to talk with your children about the importance of this special part of our worship.

Mauldin Elementary School -Mentor Program Currently we have several members of HPC serving at the elementary school as mentors. We have had very positive feedback from the school in regard to our involvement, and we deeply appreciate everyone who has been able to participate. The school has notified us that they are in need of 4 more mentors at this time. If you would like to become a part of this program, please contact our office and we will help you with the necessary steps

to go forward. 244-7622.
