Most important thing is employability at last of your 4 year degree. Here i have tried to convey techniques to enhance your employability with conventional degree. These are only advice not confirm ways to success. Best way of success will be only decide by you only.

Approximately 200 students have taken

admission In every session in a Engineering

college.1st year classes is common for all

branches of engineering. It means, if you

stay at hostel, there is possibility of

friendship among 200 students. But in case

of outside stay, there is less chances of

friendship among them due to less

communication. So it is better to stay at

the hostel up to the 2nd year. Every hostel

has its own discipline. Group study & more

It is better to choose the college in state,

where future job opportunity is available.

Technical knowledge will be provided

during your degree. But surviving & for

better performance in any job, it requires

knowledge of local language, easy food

habit & understanding of local culture.

Once you will decide about future job. Preparation for them will be easy. Buy books or printed material for preparation of your dream job after passing of 2 year of 4 year degree. Commonly usable books are shown in this link- Common books for RRB,PSU & other exams.

It is better to purchase study material or join correspondence course of IES Made Easy, New Delhi or IES Academy, Hyderabad for Preparation IES (UPSC), GATE or PSUs. Here are various types of jobs available for engineers. Some of them are as follows:

Group A & B Jobs:-UPSC for IAS (Administrative Services), IES (Engineering Services),IFS (Forest Services for Mechanical, Civil & Agriculture Science) etc. All these jobs are executive in nature.

Lectureship job:- Qualifying the GATE Exam for MTECH.After MTECH, you are eligible lecturer job in any engineering college. This job gives you money with respect.Even if, you can fight an election during your job. It is also executive cadre.

PSU Job:- Through GATE Score Or direct exam by PSUs itself. It is also executive cadre job with time bound promotions. These qualities make it better than State & Central jobs except UPSC jobs.

A brief comparison has shown here in between Central & PSU jobs.

Group C Jobs:- SSE & JE Post in Railways by RRB Exam. It is non-Executive cadre job without any time bound promotions. But this job can be got by single exam without any interview or GD etc and also having a probability of home posting. Job profile of SSE in Indian Railways.

Group B jobs:-JE jobs through SSC, Engineer jobs in state by State PSCs. It is executive cadre job.

Bank PO:- PO jobs of various banks through IBPS Exams. It is executive cadre job with probability of home posting. Job profile of a Bank PO. Bank also recruits Specialist officers. Basic Eligibility for Specialist Officer/Manager is BTECH in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Computer Science etc. Job profile & Eligibility for the Specialist officer

Private Jobs:- If you have specific training for this sector, then join it. You can get rapid chance of promotions. Private sector is more suitable after implications of NPS (New Pension system) in Govt. Sector. Because there is provision of meagre monthly payment in NPS compare to earlier Pension Scheme.

For Power Sector:-If you want to join power sector, NPTIs are best suited for Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics Engineers. They provide you certificate for operation of 630 MW/210 MW/430 MW Power Plant. So Power Plant companies hire such Certification Holders for running their Power Plant. Renewable Energy Sector:- Bellow mentioned News shows huge opportunities in Solar Energy: Solar power tariff in India reached another historic low of Rs. 2.62 per kwH, becoming cheaper than those at many coal-fired plants, at the latest auction at the Adani Renewable Energy Park in Rajasthan on 12th may 2017. 50 MW at Rs. 2.62 per unit to Phelan Energy Group of South Africa.

100 MW at Rs. 2.62 per unit to Avaada Power Pvt Ltd of South Africa.

100 MW at Rs. 2.63 per unit to SBG Cleantech (joint venture of Japan’s Softbank, Bharti Airtel,Foxcomm Ltd of South Africa.)

Aviation Sector:- New Civil Aviation Policy 2016 will be bring bright future of Aviation sector in India.Airfare of about Rs 2500 per passenger for a one-hour flight. It means, there is huge increase of Air traffic in country & development of regional air routes.

The government has scrapped the controversial 5/20 norm and now any domestic airline can fly overseas provided they deploy 20 planes or 20 percent of their total capacity for domestic operations.

India’s Cabinet sanctioned new funding norms. Now VGF(Viability Gap Funding) to be shared between Ministry of Civil Aviation and State Governments in the ratio of 80:20. For the North Eastern States, the ratio is 90:10.

There will be no airport charges. Reduced Service tax on tickets for 1 year initially, Reduced Excise duty at 2% on ATF picked at RCS airports. State government will provide police and fire services free of cost. Power, water and other utilities will be provided at concessional rates.

Fluid Mechanics Sector:-For Mechanical & Chemical Engineers, there is huge scope in Fluid Mechanics. So it is better to take training from

NDT Courses:- Material Inspector job is also white collar job. After doing material testing course means Non-Destructive Test Courses from these institutes- you get more chance of the better job in private & Govt sector.

IT Software Sector:-Nowadays every engineering college provides knowledge of C, C++, JAVA, HTML. If you interested in this sector you can get training of short or long term course from CDAC It will give you the knowledge and also the brand name. You can also learn PHP & CSS for web designing at college time.

Automation in every sector is the biggest challenge for every engineer. But it creates job also in Artificial Intelligence. It means you have to learn technical courses on AI along with C, C++, Java, HTML etc.

Lack of energy/green energy creates huge opportunity in renewable energy sector.

Better public transportation initiative will provide the career in the driverless transportation system, Metro Rail, Mono Rail, Aviation sector, Waterway transportation.

Innovation required in Agriculture for feeding the world.

Cutting technology comes in Medical Science.

At last, i want to say that in future Digital Knowledge, Robotics, Nanotechnology, Artificial Intelligence is most important for your job. So prepare for them for improvement of your employability.
