How to insert a jQuery Accordion to your Joomla 3.x website

In this presentation you will see how to insert a Likno jQuery Accordion to your Joomla 3.x site

through the Joomla Accordion Component.

You need to have Likno Web Accordion Builder installed on your computer and Likno Web Accordion Joomla component installed and activated on your Joomla website.

Step 1: Create your jQuery accordion in Likno Web Accordion Builder.

Step 2: Check the positioning of your accordion. Select the “Insert into a page Element (div, span, td, etc)” option.Type the element ID or leave the default.

Step 3: Change the Compiled JavaScript Project name.Click on Project and in the Project Properties dialog box select the Custom and insert your custom name for your compiled JavaScript file.

Step 4: Compile your accordion project for Joomla.Click on Add-ins -> Joomla Project -> Compile Joomla Project.Click “Continue with Compile” on the dialog box that appears.

Step 5: Login to you Joomla Administration Panel.Click on Extensions -> Extension Manager.

Step 6: Click on Choose file in order to select the zip file that is created after you compiled your accordion project.

Step 7: Choose the compiled zip folder (created when you compiled your accordion project) and then click “Upload & Install”.You will get the message “Installing module was successful”.

Step 8: Go to your existent articles or create a new one in Article Manager.In order to insert your accordion in your article you need to first place the cursor in the point you want the accordion to appear and then click on the button “Accordion”.

Step 9: On the modal window that appears, select the accordion you want to place into your article and click on “Insert”.Save your article and you are done.

The accordion is in your article.
