How to Install an application on Android Phone

An Android application is stored in an APK file (a file named by {Application Name}.apk)

Play Store

1. Make sure cellular or internet service on your phone is available.

2. Turn On Data (By tap this icon).

3. Make sure Google Play Store is installed on your phone.

4. Open the Plays Store application in the Application menu. If you have never accessed the Play Store on your phone, you will be prompted for the login and password of your gmail.com account. Enter this information to create an account

5. Within the Google Play Store, you can select the appropriate option on the menu bar to locate the application you want to install: Application displays a categorized list of all applications available on the store. Games show a categorized list of all available games, and Books show a categorized list of all available books that you can read.

6. You can also use Search feature. By tapping the Search (Magnifying glass) icon to quickly find a specific application. You will get a list of matching application along with each one’s description and rating.

7. Click on the application you want and more details about that application are displayed such as the number of downloads and user comments.

8. To install the application. Just click the install button.

9. In the next screen, you will see more detail about the detail of application including functionalities it needs to access. Click Ok to finish installing the application.

10. Wait until the application installed
