PREPARATION
CLEAR AREA - To allow bringing in the lockers.
HAVE ALL TOOLS & SUPPLIES AVAILABLE – So you don’t have to run to the store.
BEFORE OPENING BOXES - Make certain that there is no damage to the cartons. If so, take pictures of the boxes and lockers.

PROVIDED WITH LOCKERS
Hardware to fasten lockers side by side. 3/8” nuts and bolts. (package found inside lockers)
Lockers come assembled.

BE PREPARED WITH THE SUPPLIES
GLOVES – Gives you a better grip with moving the lockers.
BOX CUTTERS – Use to open the boxes the lockers are shipped in.
FLASHLIGHT – Use to see in lockers for lining up the holes for the bolts. (magnetic)
SHIMS – Use to level the lockers
WHALES TAIL (small crow bar) – Use to lift lockers for shims.
DRILL – Use to secure to wall.

AMERICAN WRENCH – For fastening the lockers together.
1x4 (or 2x4) – Attach to wall to secure lockers.
2” TAPPING SCREWS – Use ONLY if have metal studs. Attach 1x4 to wall.
2” WOOD SCREWS – Use ONLY if have wood studs. Attach 1x4 to wall.
15/8” WOOD SCREW – Use to attach lockers to 1x4.
FLAT/PHILLIPS SCREW DRIVER – For fastening the lockers together.

LEVEL – Use to make sure the lockers are level.
FENDER WASHERS – Use with wood screws when attaching lockers to 1x4.
DRILL BITS/SCREW BITS – Anchor locker columns to wall.
TAPE MEASURE – Make sure your lockers are centered on the wall.
CLAMPS (optional) – Holds doors open when working in locker.
SHAMMI or MICROFIBER CLOTH – Use to wipe off finger prints.

INSTALLATION PROCESS
Locate studs on wall.
Determine if studs are metal or wood.
Measure from base to the hole in the back of the locker that you will be using.
Make sure you line up the 1x4 with that hole.
Mount the 1x4 or 2x4 with washers and wood/tapping screws.
Slide the locker(s) in place.
Fasten the lockers side by side with the 3/8” nuts and bolts.

INSTALLATION PROCESS CONT.
FASTENING THE LOCKERS TOGETHER The hole you need to use is found in the front side of the locker about half way down. (It is the only hole that will fit the 3/8” bolt).
Go into the locker next to this locker and tighten the bolt to the washer and nut. Verify that the lockers are level. If not use shims.
FASTENING LOCKERS TO BACK WALL Drill the wood screws with washers from inside the locker to the 1x4.
TESTING THE LOCKS Place the keys in the locks. Test to make sure they lock and unlock the locker. If lockers have a cash box, you will want to test the key for the box. (black & white keys)
