How to Install Xerox Printer Drivers for MAC OS X

OSX 10.7-10.9 is required to install drivers.

1. Locate the driver file that was downloaded from www.guamcc.edu\xerox . By default MAC

OS X saves downloaded files in the downloads folder. From your desktop on the Finder menu

click on GO and then DOWNLOADS to open the downloads folder

Once in the downloads folder, double click on the driver file.

2. A new window will open; double click on the .pkg file

3. Click on Continue.

4. Click on continue again.

5. Click on continue once more.

6. Click on Agree to accept the terms of the software license agreement.

7. Clink on Install to begin the installation.

8. Type in your Administrator password, if your profile account is an administrator then Name

Field would be the name of your profile account. Click on Install Software

9. Once the Driver software is done installing it will give a list of printers. Select the printer that

corresponds with the printer that you want installed and click on Continue

If your printer is not listed under Discovered Printers Follow steps 12-14

10. Click on check box to set the printer as your default printer if not leave this unchecked. Click

on Continue.

11. Click on Close to complete installation of Xerox Printer.

12. If your printer was not listed click on the icon that has the single square on it.

13. Enter the IP Address of the printer you want installed . The format of numbers should look

like this 192.168.xxx.xxx, where X = the numbers used for the printer you want installed. Refer

to the Xerox Equipment Map located at www.guamcc.edu\xerox for the IP Address. Click on

Continue once the printer has been located.

14. Go back to step 10 and 11 to complete the Xerox driver install.
