How to Join Grace Baptist Church
At the end of the Worship Service, we will sing a hymn of decision. During this time, youare invited to walk to the front of the Church in response to the leading of the Holy Spirit
that you sense in your heart or mind. Our Pastor and a counselor will be at the front totalk with you about your decision.
One of the decisions you may wish to make is to become a member of Grace Baptist Church. You may do so by telling the Pastor or Staff Member one of the following:
• I want to trust Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, but don’t understand how. I need someone to help me.
• I have accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and desire New Testament baptism.• I have previously received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. The Church I joined did
not practice New Testament baptism, so I want to be baptized and join Grace Baptist Church.
• I am a member of another Baptist Church and want to join Grace Baptist on apromise letter from that Church.
• I have previously received Christ and was baptized into a Church by New Testament baptism, however, the record of my Church membership is unavailable, or I have been a member of another denomination and wish to return to a Baptist Church.
If none of the above are an expression of your desire, you may schedule an appointmentwith Pastor Hilley or a Staff Member by calling the Church Office at 706-868-9729.

Dear Grace Family and Friends,
Thank you for allowing Leila and me to enjoy winter in New York. It’s amusing to many that “a country boy” like me enjoys the big city. I would never want to live there. But I love it in small doses when I don’t have to worry about being a certain place at a certain time. The thing I love most is the diversity of people. New York City is very different culturally. But different isn’t bad; it’s just different. I love people of all kinds. I enjoy interacting with folks from all walks of life. Leila and I both noted how much friendlier people were this time than previous trips. The highlight of the trip for me was worshipping at Brooklyn Tabernacle. Pastor Jim Cymbala has done a tremendous job impacting that community with the Gospel of Christ. I was overwhelmed by “The Presence of God” during the Congregational singing. Everyone talks about the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, and they are great. But I’ve never heard a Congregation sing like they did. I was both honored and humbled to be among their ranks. People from across the spectrum joined voices in praise to our awesome God. The tears flowed freely as I reflected on God’s goodness to me. So did God’s conviction. There’s no reason our singing should be any less inspired. Not everyone loves music and singing as much as I do; and that’s fine. But Scripture is clear that God enjoys the singing of His people. We should honor that at every opportunity. Let’s make a commitment to pray to that end. In addition, let’s pray earnestly for the upcoming January Revival Meetings. Invite friends and neighbors to join us. God desires to do a greater work at Grace Baptist in Evans. Nothing can hinder that from becoming reality if we’ll remain “willing.” I love you and look forward to our worship today. May God richly bless you all!
